Tunnel to Towers Rob Jones Home Dedication

Tunnel to Towers unveiled a new smart home for USMC Sgt Rob Jones in Middleburg, VA. The day started with a parade of police cruisers, firetrucks, and the Patriot Guard Motorcycle Club leading Rob to his new home. The home was especially designed for Sgt Jones to meet his specific needs as a double leg-amputee.

During Rob’s deployment to Afghanistan, his unit was pushing into Taliban territory, he was clearing an area of IEDs when a landmine detonated and cost Rob both legs above the knee. When selecting a town for his new smart home, Rob decided, “there’s no better place to come back to forever,” referring to Middleburg, just 25-miles away from his hometown of Lovettsville.

The video of the dedication is part of a fund rising effort to help pay for smart homes for all critically injured service members returning from the war by asking for a $11 dollar a month pledge.
